We have returned home after our 2 week holiday on our beloved Paxos. It had its ups and downs as I fell over and hurt my left leg. Thanks to the little hospital on Paxos and that lovely Greek doctor who looked after me it did not spoil our holiday as I could still have my daily dip in the pool. We had some lovely meals as usual, the standards for eating out are still good. Alexandros in Lakka was excellent with a friendly service and authentic Greek dishes served by the family that own it. Vontza restaurant near Gaios was also very good and Maria looked after us at every visit. And of course our favourite Mambo in Gaios where our girls spoiled us with the help of Kostas. We do worry about their economy for next year and only hope all goes well for them. George and Sara at Villa Kiki looked after us very well and we wanted for nothing. We miss you all on Paxos and wish you nothing but the best in the coming year.

Glad you had a good time Andrea and hope your leg is better now. If it's any consolation, I'm in Thailand at the moment and have also had my first experience of foreign hospitals (which I have to say was excellent) with an ear infection!

Hope you are OK now. Are you in Samui? I am sure they will have good medical facilities there. Hope this has not spoiled your holiday too much, and that the weather is good with you.
We had amazing sunshine and high temp in Paxos and Corfu, and on the Monday we left, the rain and storms started!
