I have had 2 offers of accommodation that I really like for next year. GreenHill resort, Pelekas or Sebastiens,(Room1) AG. I am taking a 13 and 15 year old with me. Which place would be more suitable? Worried that Pelekas might just be too quiet. Many thanks

Being nearer the beach and with teenagers I would opt for Sebastiens at AG.

Having stayed in A.G it is a lovely resort. Your teenagers would probably have quite a bit to do there.
There are quite a few different swimming pools you can use, providing you buy your drinks at there bars, Irene Splash Pool, Alloa Hotel with there ECO swimming pool, The Posiedon swimming pool further down the street towards the beach.
Never stayed at Pelekas but I understand that again a beautiful place.
I know another lady on here stayed with her teenagers this summer in A.G she may come on and tell you how her two got on there as far as things to do.

Hi,
Stayed in AG for 4 weeks with my two 15 year olds this summer. They will love it we used Aloha pool a couple of times. Nowhere is far from the beach and they can wander around by themselves such a lovely village.
Use Time Out for the inevitable catch up on facebook. I never once heard we are bored they were just happy to generally chill, we took a visit to Aqualand (booked through Sinarades travel in the village. Bus goes into Corfu town 2.20 euros each way and from there you can visit Vidos island or do the sea lion boat trip or just wander around Corfu town. Any questions relating to teenagers in AG message me. Wish I was there.

Pelekas village is beautiful, and has half a dozen Tavernas and bars, three churches and "Kaisers Throne" viewpoint where you can look over half the island.
The resort however is a good 20 minutes walk downhill to the beach where I presume you would be staying.
There you will find the Aquis Hotel, three Tavernas, one bar and one small supermarket.
Aghios Gordios has lots of Tavernas, bars and supermarkets and is a true resort so I think the children will find a lot more to do there.
I go to Pelekas a few times a year with the family but our kids are older now so don't mind the village life.
We have been to Aghios Gordios many times going back 20 years and I think it would be a good choice for you.
Maybe you could visit Pelekas for the day?
Good Luck,
Stevie...from Pelekas!

Hi there, just back from our 7th trip (without our kids this time as they are grown up but they do return of their own accord as they love it)! You could also try Rolandos' apartments - www dot rolandos-cars dot com. He will do a deal for you for a 2 bed apartment, pick up and drop off from the airport and car hire if you want - we just have a small car for 3 days. He is brilliant. Would definitely go to Aqualand (ours loved it)!
