We are attending a family wedding in Athens in November. It is in the registry office and I was wondering if anyone out there had attended one before as I am not sure what the dress code is? I have been to the church weddings which is full flowy dress and everything but I have heard that an office wedding is more low-key. It is going to be a small family affair nothing elaborate so any advice on dressing will be gratefully accepted - thanks.

Think it is such a personal thing- I would contact others who are attending- but in November at least it will not be the practically topless summer dresses!
Is there are reception afterwards, and if so where, as the venue for that may give a clue as to the dress code.

Thanks jan, it is a very small affair just us, brides parents and grooms parents - bride is from Serbia so cant ask them and mother in law will not have a clue unfortunately! It will just be a meal afterwards nothing fancy so I dont want to dress OTT or be underdressed either. I think I am right in thinking I wont need a hat??
