I know this has been asked before, but can't find it. After 4 holidays in Loggos have not yet been to the west coast to see the sun-set, apart from the boat trip, so have a couple of questions:
I think there are 2 tavernas, does anyone have a favourite, and what are their proper names?
Is it easy to get the bus to Magazia and walk there, or should we book a taxi. Is it easy to get taxi back to Loggos by taxi?
Thank you.

There is a bar at Eremitis which now also does meals and this is walkable from from Magazia. We've often had a drink there but never a meal, definitely worth a visit, not only for the sunset but also people watching, and taxis are happy to drop off and pick you up from there. There is a taverna at Kastanidis (sp) which we ate at years ago, although it was good then I have no idea if that is still true. This is reached by taking the road on the left after the fire station in Magazia, this would certainly need a taxi, though I think it is walkable from Lakka. I've always known the one at Eremitis as Sunset Bar and the one in Kastanidis as Sunset Taverna, but whether that is right I don't know.

Haven't been to the Erimitis one, but the other one, which I think is called the Sunset, has amazing views over both sides of the island and right the way up the coast of Corfu.
It's a slightly unusual establishment - something like a house on stilts - but very friendly
