In addition to the advice given in the guide on this website, (use of plug-ins etc) I recommend having the air-conditioning (or a fan) switched on at night if available; open windows but close shutters; lights off. As well as Jungle Formula spray, we used Boots 'Repel' 50% Deet body wipes when we went out in the evenings and topped up before going to bed. I have very sensitive skin and these were fine for me even on my face. Using all the measures above, we didn't get a single mozzie bite (in early September).

The Repel wipes are absolutely fantastic. I have NEVER used a mozzie product as good as this and will now possibly never use anything else. Our only worry is that we use them regularly and are concerned that 50% Deet being put on our skin every day is maybe not a good thing!

Old news but the Avon Skin So soft really works. For us anyway. I used to be eaten alive but since using this every evening after showering and again at bedtime, topped up with 50% deet on my ankles and wrists I got away with about seven bites.
I do think Roda has more than it's fair share of mossies, compared to Kassiopi this year.
Nasty annoying things.

I think that's the rub Jacquie. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. I've tried so many different products!
I've only had about 5 bites all summer using the Repel which is far, far fewer than usual but as I said, I'm a bit worried about the Deet content even though it obviously works.

We had no problems with mosquitoes at all in Liapades, but I was stung twice by wasps and reacted very badley, huge swellings and painful for three or four days so glad I was well prepared with creams and antihistomines. We thought maybe it was because there was no lying, still water for the mozzies and it was so hot.
