Looking to book a weeks holiday back to San Stef NW in October for me and the missis, as we both the big 50 October/November, priced it as a package holiday and coming out at £786 total, if I do flight then holiday it was £743 Monday, but every day its dropped in price, and as I type, the price is £683, so my question is "will it keep dropping as its the quiet end of the season, and they trying to fill the plane or should I book before it starts to creep up" pot luck I guess
Any one been mid October, whats weather like, is it too quiet?

Its always a difficult one. The accommodation is certainly getting cheaper, however the flights seem to be going up (although Monarch are very good at the moment).
Its all about what you want.
Allocation on arrival, night flights from some regional airports can be cheap, but can be a nightmare.
Of course flight and accommodation seperate need transfers, which can be £100-£120. Its difficult to get the right balance.
For The BIG 50! You deserve a Best You Can Time. Go for it, best of luck, Enjoy and Happy Birthdays. Yamas.

Cheers TC,
These bookings are off Thomson site, including insurance and bus transfers, and accomadation at Thomas Bay, which we arrived home from on August 5th lol.
Flights are good 9am out and 3.15 pm return, so just a matter of time when I hit that book now button :-)
Swings and roundabouts I guess

Agree a difficult one this to judge. Last year me and Mr M were contemplating hopping over in October and we could have had a week from the 7th October at the Loxides in Sidari for £139.00 each!!! Flights accommodation and transfers all included...
It was an absolute steal but unfortunately we could not get the time off work.

Absolutely right it is difficult.
We had a great one in May this year. Went to Halkidiki for a week, stayed at The Nostos Hotel, absolutely excellent. £139 each, the lot.
Amazing.
This time (September) I got it wrong. Booked too early.
No matter its the way it goes. I just Thank the Lord I am able to go!!!
Take care

To SteSan - My suggestion is never postpone joy! Tomorrow doesn't always come to everyone. Follow your bliss. Just do it. Go for it...I hope you have the most glorious time on this momentous trip. Don't wait. Eat dessert first - life is uncertain. And life's too short to fold your underwear. Just sayin'.

Suggest you book it now and dont check the price on the site again. You'll have the best price available to your certain knowledge. Just dont let curiosity get the better of you.

I also beleive the holiday companies can tell how many times a holiday is looked at on the internet which will reflect peoples interest and adjust the price accordingly. This happened to me when I was looking for last years flights...kept looking several times a day and the price did fluctuate...I left it for a few days and the price had gone down a bit to a price I was happy to pay. If the price is something you would be happy to pay then book it...imagine going online and it has gone altogether as someone else has snapped it up.
Go for it and then you have something to look forward to...

Package holidays can be tricky, but why spend all the money, you could get the same holiday for less than £300 if you flew easyjet there and back, then booked your hotel seperate with Thompson or something, you would save a huge amount of money.
