Now it works for me when I am logged on in Greece but not when I use my UK IP address. Anyone in the UK wanting to log on to their Alpha bank account should get one of the many free Greek proxy server IP addresses available on the web and log on using that address. Strange that, having a fault that only stops foreigners accessing their bank. Glad I drew most of my euros out last week.

Hi, I haven't been able to get in to www.alpha.gr either from the UK but did follow a link to an "https" website in an email they sent me advising me a new statement was available, and that worked. It looks like they've revamped their website.
I did post the link here but had second thoughts and deleted it , mainly because the new website has links to other areas of it which don't work!
Am probably being over-cautious and they've just got teething problems with the website for UK users but am always wary of emails from banks which include links... If anyone wants to try the link, am happy to send it by PM so you can make up your own mind.

Nice to know that Alpha have allowed this situation to continue throughout the weekend, Can you imagine if one of the UK clearing banks did the same. Link

Because I'm incredibly clever and talented and computers are easy for me or alternatively just googled Alpha Bank and kept hitting the links until I got through to something I recognised
