Thanks for the message! Sounds as though we have made a great choice of accomodation and holiday. I've been to Corfu before about 13 years ago to Kavos so hoping Sidari is much better than that!
Really looking forward to it - 2 weeks tomorrow!

Well never ventured to Kavos but have been to many places there. Don't get me wrong the strip can be a bit hectic and seems to get livlier every year but it's enjoyable and for all ages not just 18 plus. I just love it.

We returned last night (15th August) and I have to say it seems a million miles away already. Will have to start saving for next year. If anyone is reading this and wants to go to a fantastic taverna in the Acharavi area then MONOLITHI is the place. 2km out of town, 7 euros by taxi and you can even get a lift back to town when you have finished. The fried sole is to die for. Six starters, six main meals, 2 litres red wine, 4 large beers, two large bottles of water, one coffee and two apple pies, 115 euros for the lot. Thats less than £18 apiece and thats with live music all night.
