We are coming to a villa in Vigla later this month. We are looking forward to introducing our daughter and teenage grandchildren to Corfu, but it is 7 years since our last visit. An update would be most helpful. Is the Trofo hypermarket near Gouvia still operating, or are there now competitors further North? Is the museum at Mon Repos still open? We saw photos of it boarded up in the Daily Mail! Any tips on parking in town? We have always managed in the past but, with 2 cars, the chances of finding spaces near the Esplanade seem remote. Any recommendations for eating in town, particularly a good selection of mezedes? Thanks in advance for your help. Can't wait to be back in the 'country of my heart'.
