I just wondered if anyone recognises the dog in my avatar picture. We met him on our first day in AG and he was a constant companion all day (and some evenings) throughout our stay. He followed us everywhere and some people thought we had taken our own pet on holiday with us. If you have been on the beach or the hotel between 1st and 15th July you couldn't have failed to see him following me wherever I went. As you can imagine it was torture leaving him but I am sure he will have adopted someone else by now. I named him Oscar for the fortnight and wonder if anyone has any info on him at all. Regards

Thanks Alison. Oscar was so well behaved and looked so good we feel he must be owned by someone. Just hope he isn't waiting for me to take him for his 0630 walk on the beach

Oh dear Ian, takes my mind back a few years when we were followed in Acharavi day and night by a stray dog!! This one was definitley a stray and wormed her way into our hearts. If I now look to the right whilst typing this she is spread out on the sofa like lady muck. The best money we have ever spent was on bringing her home here and she certainly knew we were a soft touch. julesxx

Hi Jules my lady muck as I type is laying on our bed with not a care in the world. I often wonder if she remembers the day's when she was homeless and hungry!!! again best money we have ever spent.
Back to the original topic fingers crossed he has an owner and will be found soon xx

I would be back to AG like a shot if I thought Oscar wasn't happy and bring him back here. He was in such good condition and was obviously well fed and I feel he must have an owner somewhere in the village and just befriends different people throughout the year. I am sure someone will have seen him this week and will fill me in on him.

I'm wondering if he belongs to Nicole who works in Madisons Bar with Thannos. Her boyfriend Tony works (or did) in Alo Bar on the beach. When we were there in 2008 we stayed in the little house next to Alo Bar and Nicole and Tony had a little puppy who looks very similar to this handsom fella in your pic he was called Bobby. My daughter fell in love with him and played with him constantly. Just checked our holiday pics and he looks very similar, white with pale tan patches over both eyes.

Most of the time "owned" dogs who wander around normally have collars, I will say normally as this may be incorrect with this dog as he looks well looked after!! julesxxx

Jules. He was so well behaved and in great condition but sadly no collar. I have more photos of Oscar than of the beautiful sunsets at Agios Gordios. Miss his company but hope he remembers me next July unless I get over before
