Liz there was about 4 more replies on this post last night, looks like the mystery post deleter strikes again... It will put people off from actually taking the time to post which defeats the purpose of a message board.

When I was out in June I didn't think I spent a great deal more than usual. If you are in self catering you may find your shopping more expensive but in tavernas there were only small increases- like 1 euro dearer than last year- I appreciate that it adds up over a holiday. I was more conscious of what I was buying and wasn't so frivolous but certainly didn't miss out on any treats.

Angela - actually, in my case the mystery post deleter isn't a mystery, I know exactly who it is. I'm with you on this point it certainly does delete the purpose of a message board so long as the message is within the rules. It's annoying yet I'm not going to get angry but I am going to get even...

Well Kostas, maybe you would like to share your secret with me. I can see in elizajays history who deleted any posts and all I can see is that she deleted two posts herself yesterday and another one last Wednesday. It's a mystery to me so I would like to know.

One of my topic disappeared but I was given a polite explanation by PM that the site was being updated and several posts and topics had gone walk abouts by mistake and they were sorry about it, and could I start the topic again which I did.
Theres no great mystery about it at all.
I know there have been a couple of threads that admin have deleted and rightly so..because they were getting nasty.

Hi folks,
Before this conspiracy theory gets out of hand.
Nathan has been working on the site over the weekend and has upgraded the SQL database.
I think that several posts have disappeared into the ether as when I checked the posts, initially there were 72 unread, then when I clicked back on them, only seven.
Mystery solved, I think!

Hi Elizajay, didn't know anything about a whole thread disappearing. All the previous posts only mentioned posts disappearing. I'm glad to hear that Nathan is working on the site though as it seems to be running ever more slowly by the day.

We returned from Ag Stef NW on Friday after 11 lovely days there! Not a lot dearer than last year, most tavernas are offering the same meal deals as before.
We did seem to spend quite a lot in the supermarkets but we still came home with uncashed travellers cheques!

Getting back to the original subject. I can confirm Sooz’s comments, no change from last year, we were getting a 2 course meal for two with a half bottle of red wine ranging between 25 and 30 Euros, which I think is not bad giving the economic circumstances.
Agios Stefanos was quiet for the 1st two week of July compared to last year but still magical all the same

Hi Woodie we are out in three weeks time and hoping for the weather as it is now out there and literally be able to chill out.
We don't spend much during the day, we make our own butties and take them and water/fruit juice to the beach. We then choose our favourite place to eat in the evening and if prices are similar to last year we will be very pleased, the portions are very generous and good value.
