Hi everyone out there I need a bit of help as I am an oldie and wasnt brought up and educated with computers. I was wondering how do I put a picture from my lap top of me into my profile. I am sure loads of you out there will help me you may even have a photo of me you could put on. Thanks for any help

Pete I think the first step is to set up a photo gallery and then follow the links there to move a picture into the gallery. Once there it is easy to move it to an avatar.
I'm sure someone will give you a more technical answer soon.

Find a post from any member who has already uploaded photos into their gallery. Click the 'Photos' icon in the title bar above their post to go into their gallery. Scroll down to the bottom of their gallery and you will find:
'Add Photos To Your Own Gallery
If you have photos that you would like to add to your own gallery, follow these simple instructions: Add Your Photos'
Click on the last three words and follow the instructions to upload your photos. Once you have the photos into your own gallery the 'edit', 'delete' and 'set as avatar' options will appear under each of your photos.

If you go onto 'Your Profile' then 'Photo Gallery' then 'Add your photo's' it will then instruct you would to do. Once you have the photo in your Gallery press 'Use as avatar'. Good Luck

It must be something in the air up here on the north east coast that interferes with our computer skills. I still have probs with some...well most of my pics being too big!!
