I has suddenly gone a bit dark just south of Corfu town and I can hear thunder rumbling about (I like to think of is a Zeus playing bowls!).   The wind is getting up too.

Is anyone on line in Corfu where it is raining or should I continue to water the garden?

Looks like we may be in for a storm Lavinia - but looks like there is also a political storm brewing in Athens!!

ps I shouldn't bother watering the garden

Could be Lavinia - the wind looks to be generally from the south for the next couple of days or so - this usually leads (eventually) to a thunderstorm.

The wind direction does seem to be very unsettled so far this season

Maybe nature's way of echoing the political unrest displayed today in Corfu Town?   I have never seen a demonstration such as today's in Corfu...

Unfortunately I have already watered most of the garden.

Here near Agni we are watching the lightening etc but not reached us.
Could do with the rain to save watering.
Great rainbow though.

Here in the west we had a dark period and a few large spots of rain but it's now sunny again. To the south and east of us it does look very black though.

Still, a few thunderstorms tonight will clear the air for a lovely calm day on the boat tomorrow.

Just a few pathetic drops of rain for five minutes.   What a let down!
