So what has Panv actually got against Pizza.
Have I missed the point of the post?
I agree that Pizza's can be a very nice meal whether eaten out or at home.

I don't have anything against Pizza, however I do have something against bad Pizza, which unfortunately is what I had, won't be going back there again this summer.

We had a meal out on May Day to mark the start of the season in a well known taverna.
We had two beautifully cooked starters and I decided on the mushroom risotto as I love mushroom risotto!
When it came I was so disappointed. It was not made with risotto rice but long-grain rice with no hint of any stock. The mushrooms were tinned and nothing had been seasoned. Risotto has a creamy texture. This was bland and unappetising and had absolutely no mushroom flavour at all.
What I had was most definitely not what most people would expect from a risotto.
Did I complain? No! I chickened out! It was the old story. We were with friends, we were having a good time and I didn't want to spoil the mood!
I was suitably chastised by one of our daughters when I told her about it for not saying anything. Now, after thinking about it, I feel as though I should have said something as otherwise the owners will be none the wiser.

We've had some very good pizza in Corfu. Would recommend 'Metre of Pizza' in the town. Also a fun place if you've got kids with you as you can then order the full metre!
