Excellent. The pPool area is great. The location, second to none. The boys and girls are brilliant.
It is a little quiet in the evenings. If thats what you like thats fine. We generally go out making a noise somewhere, Thomas Bay for example (thats a great place)
We only stay the Bed & Breakfast, as we love to dine out in the evenings, Beachcomber or Mythica, our two favourites, but lots more to choose from.
Certianly be going back this September.
You just enjoy now!! Its EASY!!!

I have stayed at the Athina - it is the CLEANEST hotel I have ever stayed in. Everyone was really friendly, especially the reception staff. FAB pool - am sure you will enjoy it.

Athina hotel is a great choice to stay, very nice rooms with TV, fridge, aircon and a proper bathroom, the food is pretty good and always theres a good choice for your evening meal. The reception staff are very nice and always on hand. Theres a nice area at the front to sit an have drinks towards the road area and the swimming pool is brilliant with a jacuzi style area to one side. The only thing you may want to take is a travel kettle as although there is a fridge theres no kettle, you have chosen a great place to stay.

We have visited San Stef NW every year since but have gone down the self catering route, but that is no reflection on the Athena.
A must is to call in and visit Glenn and Maria at the Aquarius Bar on the road to the Athena. A Warm welcome with lots of regular visitors to the village drinking there.

We stayed at the Athina a few years ago. Everyone is very friendly there and the pool is the best in San Stefanos. We have been back 5 times and we love the Delfino Blu hotel. Waves is our favourite restaurant right on the beach. We go back on the 15th July

We came back from 2 weeks at Thomas Bay on Monday, spent a lot of time at the Athina pool right next to the beach, we asked a few who were staying there what they thought of the Athina and only got good feedback. So as soon as we came home I booked a sea view room for 2 weeks next year.
