Don't know what it's like elsewhere in the UK, but here in the North west it's glorious today!
It really gets you in the mood for the summer and your holiday.

First rain but only a little a few days ago after 2 weeks here on N Cornwall coast. Reached 15c yesterday then sea fog came in and it has again today but still 14C. Been the finest and calmest March I can remember for a long time.

Hi been to Lytham St Annes this afternoon, most of the cafes and bars had seating outside and it was really busy, had fish chips and mushy peas at the award winning Seniors chip shop, just £4 how do they do it, sat in the cafe and pot of tea, bread and butter, less than £12 for two. Bang goes the healthy eating again! but not having any tea. Walked down the front in the glorious sunshine, perfect spring day. Making the most before Alan gets taken in for his op. lol Ann xxx

Fantastic too here in Lilleshall, Shropshire. Drove down to Ironbridge and nearby Coalport this afternoon and most pubs had punters outside drinking and enjoying the sunshine!

We had our first barby tonight, spent time on the beach and at the beach hut at Wells on Sunday with friends from Corfu.
Lovely.
Spring is sprung, roll on summer.

Yes certainly a lovely day here in Liverpool, Daffodils appearing in the garden before my eyes along with the Dandelions and the fish in the pond doing somersaults reminding us that they are hungry after a very long winter
I went to the shops armed with my list of requirements to fill the cupboards in Corfu,I wore my fleece anticipating it may be cool once in the shade,of course it wasn't!
As soon as I returned home old faithful was removed in haste---my thermal vest
It's not going to be put away---yet! as the weekend forecast is the weather is going to take a turn for the worst and it's certainly going to Corfu with me---just in case

It is very damp in Corfu this evening but we have had some glorious days. The wild flowers are wonderful this year especially the anemones and the honesty. My daffodils have flowered and are now over but we are looking forward to summer.

Ps Maggy have faith, ditch the thermals, farmers forecast says up to 14 degrees at weekend and we off to lakes for weekend, making most of the days while Alan waiting for op, hopefully next week. lol Annxx. ps good forecast also for Corfu weather April and May. We went early May last year, not a clould in the sky and up to 80 some days, enjoy and give the thermals a holiday, they worked hard all winter.

Glorious sunshine again here in Ashton-under-Lyne this morning. I almost wore sandals today. I hope this weather stays for a few days. I'm off to Blackpool for a conference this weekend.

Another lovely day here too in Bolton. Resurrected the old linen trews and ballet pumps and sleeveless blouse for work... this weather certainly does make you feel great.

Nice again here today at work in Warrington, was off yesterday afternoon but was stuck in Salford Royal (or as we call it 'no Hope Hospital') with Mic for a few hours so didn't get to see much of it. Will try to get out for lunch break and catch a bit of the sun. Hopefully the weather in Corfu in May will be better than last year - got Neil from Tiffanys convinced that I pack my own raincloud to bring over

Hi Ann - I live in Stalybridge, less than 10 mins from Stamford Park and I work in Ashton (for the Council). Best wishes for Alan's scan. Enjoy the lakes and hopefully we'll all get some good weather this weekend.

Ashton-under Lyne and Stalybridge. Brings back memories. My son was born in Ashton hospital another story there) and I worked in Stalybridge when about 19 and fog was smog then. Once had to walk home to Bredbury via Hyde about 7 miles because no buses running. Got home and could have auditioned for Black and White Minstrels (you older ones will remember them). Things thank goodness much better now I know.
Long way from Ashton-Under-Lyne to Padstow.
