I think your best option is to book one way from UK, you can book a single back when you are out there to suit yourself.

when you are there pop into Castaway Travel office in Acharavi, Sue will sort you out and explain your best options.

Bob.

Hi
To follow up on Bob's comment above, you may find it difficult to book a one-way charter from the UK. Having said that, you can book a return, discard the "return" portion and book a one way Corfu-Uk flight, as suggsted, when you need it. This might be a more expensive option, but my guess is, only just!

HI

WE BOOKED FOR THIS YEAR LAST AUGUST TO CORFU ON THE 17/06 DEPARTING LUTON 7:10 AT 245 POUNDS EACH...  RETURN FLIGHTS FROM LUTON ARE NOW TOTAL COST PER PERSON 334 POUNDS EACH FOR THE SAME FLIGHT.

BUT ONLY 169 POUNDS TOTAL  IF YOU DEPART AT 20:15 HOW DO THEY JUSTIFY 165 POUNDS DIFFERENCE.... SAME DISTANCE, SAME PLANE.

THIS IS WITH BRITANNIA

Hello Angela,

Yes you are so right about our lovely little airport.

Although most of the Flight finding sites are advertising that seats are still available for £178 from Norwich for the 1st of July...Friends of ours tried to get a flight the next day, after we booked ours and although the site took their money they recieved a phone call 15 mins later saying that all the seats at that price had gone....and all they could offer them was their money back or pay the higher price,...which of course they did after several phone calls to other companies to confirm what were being told,........So as you have already said be early if you want to get a bargain at your local Airport,

                                   Peggy

I posted a responce to a similar question a little while ago, and my advice still serves.

Check every site, contact, web address hourly. every day.

Wendy has booked 6 trips to corfu for us, all times of season, all day flights, variouse numbers in our party, and variouse durations.

The most expencive has been. £180 including meals and taxes.

The cheapest £128 etc, etc.

But she has spent a lot of time on the net and the telephone.

Prices change hourly dependant on demand.

Even enqiries on the net, without a booking, to a particular site will change the price. Go on try it, hit a particular site repeatedly, and in the morning the price will have increased.

Bob.

Absolutely Bob!

Yesterday I booked budget flights for a holiday to Portugal in October and in the time it took me to book my flights the price had gone up. I then had to book flights for two other couples so the price jumped up yet again. I've just checked the site just now, and the flights are back to the original price. Over intelligent website me thinks
