Hi all
Know this has cropped up before, but having searched forums I couldn't find an up to date answer.
Is it possible to use animated avatars i.e. .gifs as avatars and if so could someone please advise how to upload, as it now seems the only way is to put pics in photo gallery first.
I do have an avatar on my own server which I was thinking of using, but know this is frowned upon.

P.S. I think there is still a problem with signatures i.e too many www's in redirect.

Have just checked and animated avatars are not allowed as previously members have abused them (by uploading videos to play in Avatars) so sadly we had to disable them.
