Anyone online tell me what the weather situation is in the UK please? We have friends due to land at Knock Ireland West at 11.00 this morning - just had 'phone call to say their incoming flight from Dublin has been diverted to Liverpool (they were flying from Leeds/Bradford) and they are being bussed down there as I type. The winds and rain here are atrocious and I would have thought Liverpool was the same being on the coast, but don't know about Leeds/Bradford. It's going to be a very very long day for them.

Wet & windy in Leeds/Bradford area, I live inbetween the 2 cities but I would have thought flights would have been alright, it's not that bad but I must admit there was just then a large gust of wind a minute ago!! Go luck & I hope their take off is sooner rather than later!! Sue

Hi Lisydaly i live 3 miles across the valley from LBA and its really wild wet and windy here i can actually see planes taking off but not taken much notice heres the LBA link with plenty of info on the site Leeds Bradford Airport
