We have regrettably come to the decision that we cannot afford to come to Corfu this year. This is because it is becoming too expensive to rent an apartment/villa & flight prices.
We can go to Fuertaventura for half the price, and cheaper flights.
I know it's not the same, and we are upset, but needs must when the Credit Crunch bites!!!

So sorry to hear that Josi, hopefully you will get away, although not your your first choice, I'm sure you'll enjoy the change of scenery and the sunshine.

Have you tried booking with a tour operator? We have found it cheaper than booking flights and accommodation separately. It may depend where you are flying from.

Hi Josi
We've booked separate flights and accommodation this year. We're flying from Newcastle with Jet2 and have booked our accommodation directly with the owner. We're really pleased with the prices we'll pay.

We have gone for the past 6 or 7 years buying flights and renting an apartment but this year got a great package price for September with Thomas Cook to Acharavi from Newcastle and cheaper than usual.
