Well I am struggling with the diet and have gained 2lbs my sister has also gained tons of weight so we have done the inevitable!!! Yes we have joined the gym both of us!!! We are to visit 3 times a week and do thump class (it was the thump bit that did it for me!!!) which is boxing and the zumba class and a gym session which involves yes!! the dreaded cross-trainer (thank god for my I-pod) my sister is battling to lose the weight too as she will be celebrating a significant birthday next year which involves a 2 week long haul holiday (which she has no idea about yet!!!) so wish us luck I think we will need it.

Well two weeks have now passed since the last comment.
How are you all doing out there. Are we down a few pounds yet.
Do some of us need a little motivation from the others on the board.
For me now the lighter morning are coming back I can start going swimming again before I start work. The baths open at 6.30am so can get quite a few lengths in before work.

Still going slowly in the right direction. I've lost 6lbs so far. I need to loose another 2lb to duck under 14stone then I'll feel it's really working.
With Spring on it's way I'll be out on the Golf Course and I'm determined to play more this year especially as at long last Val is going to join me. I hardly played last year.
Must pump the tyres up on the bikes as well. We've got some nice rides along by the river.

At least it is going in the right direction. Six pounds is really good.
A few bike rides should really get the heart pumping and the calories burning of plus all that fresh air. Imagine you will look the picture of health as you sail around Paxos.

Well, I've managed to lose 4 lbs during the last 2-3 weeks by eating salad and fruit for lunch instead of bread! Also, I've taken the bull by the horns and joined Gymaphobics (and believe me, there's no-one out there who hates exercise as much as me! )
My first session is on Wednesday - I will keep you all informed how I get on, providing my body survives the shock of it's first real workout for 18 years!

Sue - I do salad at lunch with a slimmer soup.
I do 200 strokes on the rowing machine and 5 minuite on the bike each night but have a rest at weekends.
Will increase the numbers as we go. It seems to be working.
