Hi, anyone out there heard what the present situation is with the collapse of Goldtrail. I was one caught up in the saga, sent all the info back to ATOL which is months ago but still no nearer. lorac.

Thanks Elliemay and Speartravels, the link is very helpful, and I have not heard from the CAA, I sent all the claim forms back to ATOL ON 5th August and have heard nothing since. lorac.

We got caught when Kosmar went bust, we eventually got a full refund but I think it took about 9 months, after you get acknowledgement from the CAA you can begin to chase it up, the hold up with mine was that they wanted a copy of the cheque I had paid with (luckily my bank keep copies of cheques but it cost me £5)
