I too have had problems but I think it is partly AOL as everything I try to access seems to not want to open!

I'm with aol and have it networked, it's very easy you just need a broadband router.

Funny that Steve - they spent six months telling me it couldn't be networked (and believe me we tried every which way) - AOL wanted me to purchase 4 of their modems so they all worked independently (as if - at that price a month)

By the way, and to avoid any confusion in my previous statement, I'm talking AOL Broadband here and do not mean using AOL as an ISP via another Broadband Supplier.

I eventually managed with BT Broadband and a wireless router and very satisfactory it is too.

It's broadband I'm on Mike.

I was previously on Tiscali, that was VERY easy I just put a network lead between the two pc's! The connection speed with them was slow though, only 150-200kbs when it should have been 512 so I dumped them in favour of the 1meg package from AOL.

In june the're going to make it 2meg, for no extra charge

How long ago was it they told you it was a no-no?

I have found the site to be running slow aswell.Noticed it last night,but just thought that it was my pc having a dizzy moment.

Its about two years ago now Steve - so obviously they've taken notice of my displeasure and a shed load of others who switched away from them. I'd been on AOL dial up for about three years and was very happy with them, however, when I wanted to go Broadband it couldn't network so I switched.
I take it all back then !!!
