Friend of mine saw my photos of Stevens on the Hill and various ones of the resort and decided to visit to see if they did it justice.
Sure enough he texted me after a few days saying he was waiting for his sweet and metaxa watching the sunset from Theadoras and had indeed fell in love with the resort.
He came back yesterday and wants to go again next year. They are keen walkers and did the 3 local walks to the villages but they actually walked to Benitses! Took them about 5 hours. But that was the last walk they did as his partner did her ankle ligaments playing tennis at Stevens.
Went to all the places I told him to go to and could not get over the friendliness and beauty of the resort.
So thats another couple besotted by AG and told them not to tell too many people!!
(Only joking the more people visit the better for all the local taverna owners)

Where they using their Nordic Poles if they walked to Benitses from Agios Gordios in only 5 hours, I hope in the time frame it was only one way. It normally takes me that long to get back from the beach to Stevens or Dinas Paradise.
Both you and your friends will be pleased to know that all the seaweed deposited on the beach has gone. The wind went round to the north west and increased in strength. When the sea calms down we will have the pristine beaches that regulars know well.

Dont get me wrong...I liked AG, but as I usually work on gas rigs, found it a little confined, though I did enjoy my stay Think Gouvia on a main bus route suits me
