Determination and grit! We were booked via Goldtrail through TravelRepublic. Re-booked through Kiss again via TraveRepublic. Just used them again to get Monarch flights through Avro. Hopefully that is third time lucky! TR do cover you under ATOL even if it's just a flight booking so that's some good news. Just limping towards the 6th of September now hoping to god that's it. The old wallet is a lot thinner today.

Peter I was in the gym last night and a lady who knew I had Greek connections asked me if Olympic Air were alright as her daughter was going to Skiathos and was told by a couple of tour operators to avoid flying with them. I didnt hear anything whilst I was out there two weeks ago. I am not sure if I am stepphing over the line with this topic hope not.

Was that per person.

Just looked on Thomas Cook flights only from Glasgow to Corfu next May they quoted just under £605 per person. Still rediculouse price but £37 cheaper than yours.

Viv

Same flight £197 through these guys, never use the airline site when your date is soooooo far ahead!!

Cheap flights from Glasgow

Just seen this posting re a\n article in the Telegraph.
Seems Avro/Monarch are picking up the Kiss flights if that's any comfort.

Hi,
Seems that there is no problem with Viking.
The following statement is taken from Travelmole.

"While one of Viking’s tour operating customers, Flight Options, has unfortunately gone into administration, Viking is financially healthy and is set to continue its normal UK operations,” it said."

Hi Keira,

The Thomas Cook site is very misleading. When you enter your dates, a cost comes up with £309.99 out and £295.99 in. Above these costs in a blue box is "lowest fare calendar" click on that box and new return costs come up. 2nd or 9th May departures for one week are £183.50. You will still have to pay another £20.00 for your bags on top.
But, if you book with Royalties gold the cost including your bags comes out at £186.

Take care
Tom

Dear All

All references to any possible connection between Viking Airlines and the defunct operator XL have been removed from the site whilst the legal implications of the comments are considered (possible claims for Libel).

For the avoidance of doubt, Viking was formed in 2003, long before XL went into receivership.

Please also note that any further references to any possible corporate connection between these two operators (or KISS) MAY be removed for similar reasons.

I trust that everyone will understand our reasons for being cautious in this respect.

Regards
Martyn
