I cant believe it the weather forecast for Corfu when we arrive on Monday dosent look to clever on accuweather and meteo.
When we went beginning of June last year a lot of people who were there at the same time can remember.
Is there anyone living in Corfu that can give me a bit of hope and say the forcast is wrong...
We will still enjoy the holiday but when you work all the year and after the miserable winter I would just love some sun. When we do have some nice weather here most people will be working.
I too saw it on BBC for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as showers. Of course these can pass buy or be very localised and you mauy not be affected at all; but the temperatures look much lower as well. Its a shame for those going out this weekend as it is usual for the rains to have stopped for the summer by now. But odd things are happening; look at the south of France the other day.

Got back from Kefalonia last Thursday, Accuweather said our stay would be overcast for the week, didn't see a cloud for the whole seven days, it was scorchio! Take ALL weather reports with a pinch of salt ...

I fly out Monday too and am quite relived that the forecast is for lower temperatures, even thunder storms as they are spectacular in Corfu.
After having lived in Corfu for 9 years and just returned to the UK, I believe it or not am enjoying pleasant sunny days, no mossies and nice cool evenings.
I wouldnt worry what the forecasts say, as it will still be warm in between the storms (we hope!)
Have a nice holiday. My 10days will be spent with lawyers who hopefully will be sorting out all my problems with land I bought that was illegally marked as buildable!

We fly out on Monday and I too have seen the reports of thunderstorms for next week. Hubby loves the sun but said "not to worry, we will have to do other things". I looked at him very puzzled and then remembered the football. I guess I will just have to enjoy it too, along with daughter and boyfriend (also football mad).

I am fresh back from Corfu as of about half an hour ago, flying in to a temperate Newcastle (15c) some 20c cooler than when we left Corfu!
Had a wonderful week in a villa near Agni Bay. Was chatting to some of the locals in the bay this afternoon who were talking of the forecast storms on Monday but nobody seemed too worried about it. The weather was gorgeous for our week, I am sure you will get more of the same next week!
