Just been to Go Greek restaurant in Layton Blackpool. Chef from Sidari, and an excellent authentic meal was had. Took us right back to Corfu, that we left 3 weeks ago. We had village sausage and hallumi cheese and meat balls to start followed by gyros with chicken, tzasiki and salad and chips, washed down with Mythos. Yum yum!! I highly recommend it. Yammas Ann xxx

Go Greek. 17 Westcliffe Drive, Layton, Blackpool,
FY3 7BJ - 01253 300088
A welcome new addition to the scene in Layton, Go Greek café, bar, takeaway and deli has opened on busy Westcliffe Drive. Run by Anglo-Greek couple Glenda and Spiros, Go Greek fills a gap in the market here offering fresh Greek and Mediterranean food to eat in and takeaway. The interior is warm, inviting and makes you feel you are abroad; you can experience authentic home-cooked Greek food here and the menu covers all the favourites like hot and cold Meze, tzatziki, humous, salads and more. Meaty mains like Stifado (beef stew with red wine) and Kleftiko (slow roasted shoulder of Lamb) are served with a choice of home roast potatoes or proper, real chips and they offer a great choice of vegetarian dishes. There is a selection of Greek wines and beers available. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Thursday 10.30am-10.30pm, Friday & Saturday 10.30am-11pm and closed Sundays
hope thats right

BLACKPOOL is like Marmite, you either love it or hate it.
I love it, always try and stay in the travel lodge opposite the football stadium.
Now they are in the premiership I can go and watch them get beat by the mighty wolves what a weekend that would be beer, football, and a Greek meal wow.

Unfortunately living 7 miles away from it I feel the same way about Blackpool as I do about Marmite-I hate but a trip to a Greek restaurant on the outskirts would definately be do-able! Haha

My uncle has been to the restaurant and said the food was delicious. Did the chef used to work in a taverna in Sidari?. I am going to Sidari for the 5th time this summer, cant wait. I live in Garstang so Layton isn't too far to travel to try this place. Yammas!
