Sorry to bother everybody as this has probably been done to death but would love a speedy reply. Can I use a brand new TV from the UK in Corfu...asking on behalf of a bewildered customer

Hi
Think you need the setting SECAM B, look in the menu, UK use PAL.

This is a definite maybe. Does it do analogue? Can the country be switched to Greece. Most TVs bought at the moment probably will work but once the UK has switched totally to digital they wont work until Greece catches up and transmits all it's channels in digital. If you are using it with a satellite dish it will be fine anyway.

The television I brought out works perfectly well in Greece, just a standard Samsung, nothing fancy. Years ago they were not compatible but now we seem to use the same system
