We have stayed at the Mathraki Apartments many times in the past and going back in June for 3 weeks, so they must be getting something right!
You will find the owners quietly welcoming and there if you need them, we make good use of the pool and bar where Akis rules supreme and his cheery mum Nicolette reigns over the kitchen more often than not giggling away.
The Mathraki is not far up the hill, but if you cannot face the uphill walk there is a pleasant walk up a back lane from the beach. If you look at the map Kev mentioned you will see the Eftihia, the lane runs up the side of it passing small holdings and ending up at the Mathraki.
