This might be of interest to people who want to explore the islands close to Corfu. Sky Express will be starting flights from Corfu to Kef, Prevaza, and Zante. These are loss making routes and are subsidised by the Greek Government. The schedual is not up on their site yet, give it a week or two!

Mmmmm - admittedly, I haven't researched this, but a Government subsidy in this respect might be seen as state aid, which is illegal under EU legislation. This was one of the reasons why Olympic Airways became insolvent.

I would have to agree with Martyn and quite where the Greek government would get 10 drachmas from, never mind a significant sum, at the moment is beyond me.
