You were cutting it fine David! So are you going to check in on-line? What is the advantage of doing this if you have bags to go into the hold?
May bump into you tommorrow at the airport. I'll look out for you.

easyJet claim - and so it appears do Bristol Airport on it's Website - that it is 'quicker' and more convenient to do so. The hold luggage can be dropped-off at the "bag drop desk" and the claim is that a printed online confirmation speeds things up at the security check.
It's my first time with easyJet and Bristol Airport so I will try it and see if it does indeed enhance my travel experience! If you do it the 'traditional' way we can compare notes later!
Our flight is on the departures board so it's looking good for us today Sara

Why is easyJet asking for this information? Greece does not require it...few countries do, Spain for example. Just flew to Athens with BA, they did not ask for it.

I think it's to speed things up at the check-in points - no long queues.
Looking good David. Sunny & 19 degrees on the arillas.com website...long may it continue :)

Picked this up on the Crete board but thought a new posting wouldn't go amiss.
Flights to Corfu this year will require you to give Advanced Passenger Information BEFORE you travel.
We are flying with Thomas Cook and I admit I had missed the relevance of the comment on the booking confirmation email about Reconfirming Flights.
Anyway you now have to give passport details (number, expiry date, date of birth etc) ... quote "Tour Operators and Airlines are required to collect and transmit additional information about passengers prior to the departure of flights to comply with Border Control laws and security requirements. Passengers who have not completed Advanced Passenger Information prior to travel may be denied boarding, experience delayed processing or be denied admission to the port of entry at the destination."
Sorry if you all knew this but I am sure that someone would have been caught out. So remember to check your booking emails and papers ! Just did ours online.
We are flying with Thomas Cook and although I have been unable to find any mention of API on our paperwork I have submitted our details on line, just to be on the safe side. It doesn't take more than a couple of minutes and could save problems at the airport!!

Hi folks. When I tried to submit our party details on the special Thomson website re our flight to the Pelopenese in June it repeatedly rejected my booking reference so that I couldn't put in my details. I telephoned the company and was told that these new regulations only apply to bookings made after 1st November 2009. I booked in September, so for this holiday am exempt, but will have to submit the details for any future bookings. Just thought there might be other people in this position who don't know the start date. Yammas Polly
