Have just been told that it is only the tax office who are on strike today- we'll see!

Tax office on strike? Excellent - fingers crossed that it catches on over here, and then lasts for a couple of years!!!

There is a demonstration planned in San Rocco on Wednesday (10th Feb) at 10am- so that will be further disruption

There is a vast banner at the bottom of the Ponti/Gastouri junction urging everyone to strike on Wednesday.....

We need to visit IKA offices, and have been told it will be closed on Wednesday, and possibly Thursday too.

Apparently no flights or boats either on Wednesday- all public offices closed- and a lot else too I expect, plus the demo in San Rocco at 10am

Think the message is- avoid town!
