I consider the Ionian brews "a beer to sit down with", a treat to consciously enjoy every sip. Ionian only uses natural ingredients and allows these beers to mature for 30 days. That's why they taste so good and yes they offer more healthwise and also contain vitamins.
Soon Ionian will be coming out with a wheat bear, for which they will offer a special branded beer glass as well. Those who can enjoy a German 'weizenbier' will certainly love this.
Mythos is the best cure for a big thirst and it is a loyal party-friend, even the next morning.
Amstel is OK, but it hardly resembles the Amstel originally brewed in Holland. I believe Alpha comes from the same brewery with some ingredients added.
All major beer brands apply artificial flavouring and the beer only gets a few days to develop before it gets bottled.

There is only one Prasini as it is known locally. Sorry but Heineken wins everytime!!

Mythos, Zorbas, Alpha ... anything but Amstel ... as others have said, it is too gassy.
Not that I drink a lot of beer but sometimes it just hits the spot!

Amstel first,Mythos in a bottle second, Mythos draught err perhaps used for cleaning the drains.

Give me real ale any day, Guiness will do.

Weizbier/Weizen beir available on Corfu? Oh dear!

One of my local pubs here in the UK sells a particular brand (can't remember the name) Perhaps that's because I develop amnesia after more that three pints, due to its strength

For me it's an occasional beer - generally, I find it a little too sweet (and the cloudy appearance can put people off).

Martyn
