As many of you probably know we're getting married in Corfu on 3 June 2010. Andy's father has kidney problems and needs to have regular dialysis treatment. Obviously whether or not he can attend the wedding depends on whether he would be able to receive dialysis treatment in Corfu. Does anyone know if this is available and where and if so are they private clinics that he would need to pay, or would the hospital give him treatment as long as he has a EHIC card?
Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I know the hospital in Town do Dialysis treatments and a Greek relative used to be in charge of the Dialysis Depatment there. She left for maternity leave and is not going back for the time being but if you want further info if the hospital is of interest I can obtain the info? Good luck.

Definitely available at the hospital, I have a friend who goes three times a week.
Try contacting Dr Andreas Damaskinos to give you further info. He is actually a neurosurgeon but works at the hospital and speaks perfect English, sure he will be helpful.. His phone number is 00302661049411
