Keep reading posts regarding the wind and rain just lately, has it really been that bad? We are due out there in 2 weeks and thinking what we need to pack. Last year the weather was great in October.
Somebody even mentioned the chance of snow on the mainland - can't believe wellies not flip flops will be order of the day!

I don't think there is much chance of snow on Corfu this early in the winter, but it certainly has the potential to be cold at the end of October, so be prepared to keep yourself warm. Howevert, being a small island, the weather is constantly changing so who knows what the conditions will be in a couple of weeks.
Friends who live in the centre of the island suffered a lighning stike yesterday, so I guess the weather isn't too pleasant at the moment!
We arrive on Thursday morning, so are hoping for the best.

Today in the north, and during the morning around Town, the weather has varied between sunny and heavy rain. The wind has been getting up and the temperatures have dropped a bit (I'm sitting here in jeans and a thin jumper, 9pm). We've had several quite heavy storms in the last couple of days in the north, but periods of sunshine too.
No point in bringing your snowboard, but a couple of fleeces and macs might be a good idea!

Yup,
Weather has been pretty amazing today, warm, very windy and showery.
The sea in Sidari was spectacular, the waves coming over the Canal D'amour area looked like a waterfall and everyone was trying hard to get their canoes, pedaloes, tour boats etc out of the water. Very unusual conditions for this early in the autumn apparently.
People holidaying here were making the best of it however, wave jumping and enjoying the strange conditions!
Weather sites are forecasting low temps for tonight and tomorrow - but warming up again by weekend.
October is very much a lottery here and weather changes constantly.
Prepare for anything!!! I've no idea what to wear on an hourly basis. In fact I was thinking of having a shower in the rain two nights ago!!!!
Hope for the best -but bring a Kagool and sweater!!!

The stars have been out all night and a huge red sun is just coming up over the horizon. There is not a cloud in the sky so it looks like we are going to have a sunny day although the forcasts say 10 degrees colder than last week at around 17 degrees. Storms forcast again for the weekend.
Can't see any snow in Albania yet and for the first time for weeks I can see the distant mountains there as the haze seems to have gone.
