Hi all,

I know i'm probably a bit slow, but i have just noticed that the chat room no longer appears on the site, is this a permanent thing or is it just closed for improvements?

I did a quick search and couldn't find any recent posts on this subject, but sorry if its been asked before.

I closed the chat room before Christmas. The yearly fee is 150 Euros and it was coming up for renewal. Recently the chat room has been completely unused and in fact it had been taken over by some weirdos! I am happy to re-add the chat room, but currently feel there is no demand. It's been close for 2 weeks and no one has noticed!

Should sufficient people show interest and be prepared to administer the chat, then I will pay and re-add.

I had noticed that the chat room was usually empty, but it was nice to pop in from time to time and say hi if there ever were any members in. I remember chatting to Jo (frantonianmama) when I first found this site, and she introduced me to the delights of Corfu, found me some reviews on the apartments i was set to stay in, and most of all, made me feel very welcome!

All in all, I think it won't be missed by that many members and i'm sure all the exciting changes you are planning for the site will more than make up for it Nathan! Keep up the good work!

How true Armesy,Thats where I first met Jo and Old Sixpack a year ago today? I think? They both were of great help at the time,and helped me around the site,I suppose it's not been used so much lately but at the time we had great laughs in there, still never mind onwards and upwards,still a great site though.
