Hi all

We are going to Legends on 24/05/2010 and I can't wait. It's such a long time away though. Reading these posts just takes me back. I wish we had gone this year.

Does anyone have any pics of Legends?

I believe Legends is at the far end of the Strip from where you are. We stayed in the Alkion last year which is nearer the Canal D'amour.

This will be our second time, this year we went back to Nerja in the south of Spain. Have you been to Sidari before?

Been going on and off for 15 years, went back in May after 3 year break and loved it so much, booked to go back next for almost the same price, it doesn't matter how many times we go there is always different places to eat and drink plus same old places like the Three Pigs a great beech and plenty of walks. We have never been anywere better, what drew you back again?

I can't say we have been anywhere better either. Being in Nerja this year, which is a lovely place, made us realise how much we really enjoyed Sidari. Much more to do. We hired a soft top Jimny jeep for 5 days last year and it was such a great experience driving around such a beautiful island (Jim was the driver). We also went on the yellow boats a couple of times and it was so much fun, can't wait to do that again. Only 43 weeks to go.

42 weeks 6 days, always wanted to hire a boat. How far can you go in them and how much do they cost? Thanks...

You pay by the hour and the cost depends on what size of motor the boat has which as you probably know determines how fast you can go. We went with the smallest motor (outboard motor) because we felt it was enough for what we wanted. It wasn't too expensive though can't remember the exact price. After the first time a discount was given for subsequent bookings. We still have a discount card valid until 2010

The first time we went out we went past the Canal d'amour to San Stefanos and back. Second time we went in the opposite direction. I can't wait to go out again.

Maybe someone who has been more recently can let us both know the cost. It would certainly help with the budgeting.

Just got back on Friday nghit, had another great holiday in Sidari. Been going for 15 year now, booked again yesterday, staying in Dinos this time. I know where they are but any info on rooms would be appreciated, we hired a yellow boat this year, it was 65 euros for 3 hours and the boat held 8 people, you can go from San Stefanos right round to Acharavi. Had a great time swimming from the boat, definitely doing it again next year, booking the full day next time though.

Hi Jinty, glad you had a great holiday. The boat we had had to be steered by the rudder on the outboard. The throttle was there too so Jim had to sit at the back of the boat at all times. Might go for a better one next time. Think there is a pic of Jim on the boat in my gallery.

Can you remember the cost of a full day?

I can't wait to go on one again.

Hi Sandra and Jim, I think it was 140 euroes for the full day and you have to pay for the petrol as well but they refund any petrol that you don't use. We had the boat with the steering wheel, really easy to operate, think the full day is 9-5, 50 weeks till I go again, sad I know but just love Sidari

Hi Sandra and Jim, that sounds lovely, saw a few weddings in Sidari, Alex had the bride on his horse and carriage, at least you will be guaranteed the weather for your big day.

That's very true. It's certainly not guaranteed here, even in July. This last two weeks has been terrible. Maybe this week will be better. I'm living in hope lol
