Glyfada for me yes deep sand like a picture, got lost driving there from Sidari but well worth it had a lovely Greek salad at a taverna on the beach. Could have sat there all day.

Most definitely Kaminaki for me as well! Jump off the Kassiopi bus at the "Kaminaki stop", a lovely walk down the steep olive groves, and there it lies, it must be the most beautiful setting in the world. White pebbles in the sun, light turquise sea, the scent of sage and lavendel and pretty pastel houses around the little bay.
After a swim or two take the shortcut, the path over to Krouzeri beach, 5 mins, the walk above the sea is unforgettable. Krouzeri beach is almost as nice (if you don't look over to the Nissaki hotel area) and has a a mixture of soft sand and pebbles and a really nice taverna, Yannis. After lazing round in the sun and the sea you are ready for the climb up...
