Please would you all spare a moment to help the Donkey Sanctuary? It will cost no more than that but the sanctuary could benefit immensely if Judy's rescue centre gets the most votes.
To explain: Pavo is a well known brand of Dutch food suppliers. They asked their clients to recommend their favorite equine charitiy. CDR was put on the short list of 5 charities. All we ask you to do is look at the charity list and vote for the one you think the most deserving is. Hopefully you will chose CDR. If CDR comes out on top the charity wins 1000 euros. Please take the time to vote, although it is in Dutch it is very straight forward.
I have no idea! I have been out most of the day and found three emails about this and so cobbled Judy's text with some of my own in order to get this up as soon as possible. I didn't notice any "small print." I will ask Angela who forwarded them on to me.
Thanks everyone who has voted so far, we really appreciate it.

I've just voted as well. But as far as I do understand it (my Dutch is not very good, lol), 500 votes is the maximum and they do not count votes above 500.

I had a read through and I clicked again on CDR to vote. It said that the vote didn't count because the maximum number of votes that can be cast in the poll (500) had been reached. At least I think that is what it says.
Maybe that means Judy has won? It does say the poll is still open though. I wonder what happes if we click on another link. I will try voting for the one with least votes and see what message comes up.

If you open the link a go go down to the very last box and click CDR you will get another box of scores come up these have been changing, so get voting has it looks like a close race. Hope this helps.

I just read through the site of PAVO. They state that they never expected so many votes. It was designed to have a maximum of 500 votes. All votes over the 500-limit will be counted but not displayed in the results.
As soon as the 500-limit is reached the counter will be reset to 0. But the overall score will be counted. So as it now states 412, the final result will be 912.
SO KEEP VOTING. WE ARE IN THE LEAD.
It does not say when the voting will be stopped.
Voting from the same computer again is of no use, it recognises the IP-adress. I just tried to vote again and it says : Je hebt al op deze vraag gestemd!! Which translates to "you already voted".
PAVO is a producer of food for horses.

It's double Dutch to me so perhaps my vote counts twice? Talking of animals, just to digress, some years ago we were in Skiathos late season. Earlier they had terrible fires nearby and all over Greece. We walked up to the local monastery and next door was a dog sanctuary run by Brits ( what else ) They told us during the fires they let all the dogs run free and afterwards they all came back. Oh, and the little old Greek lady serving coffee at the monastery was wearing wellies in spite of 80 plus temp. Love it.

I need your help. There is a good targets action for 5 targets in the Netherlands. The winner gets 1000 Euros. I would want to ask you to vote on the olde manegepeerd. The olde manegepeerd is for the manegepaardjes that no longer can work but yet well well of theirs 's old day can enjoy. Unfortunately the olde has well a little financial problems and fear to must their doors for the end of this year close!! What lifted there then with all the horses that it stand now?? They can use the money of this action thus good.

It gets better and better, the lead is now 872 votes. To put things into perspective, the 872 vote lead is more than 66% of the total votes of our nearest rival.
This is no reason for you not to vote, each and every vote is needed. We have rallied the troops on this and other forums. They could well do the same and make a late surge.
Judie and the Corfu Donkey Rescue will be forever grateful to you if your vote helped them secure the 1000 € prize pot.

The CDR prize stallion MILLENNIUM has put on a spurt and is now over 1000 votes in the lead. Will his stable mate MILLENNIUM 2 take over the lead and live up to his name?
MILLENNIUM 2 is now taking up the running, the jockey is wearing the AGNI colours. Could it be Nathan in the saddle? No way, Eleni's cooking is so good, Nathan could never make the weight.
This is not a handicap race but did the other stables remember to remove their entrants from the carts?
The last thing we require now is a stewards inquiry and a hint that the rest of the field was nobbled.
Just because we are in the lead, do not sit back, your vote is still needed.

Have the trainers of the Corfu Donkeys been putting E-numbers in their feed? Could there be a stewards enquiry as to why the Corfu Donkeys have "ZIPPED" into a lead so quickly. I expect that Judy at the CDR has found some spare time to e-mail her supporters and urged them to vote for the CDR.
It has been many days since the CDR has had a lead of 1000+ votes over it's nearest rival. I have just checked the latest voting, at 18:30 GMT the CDR are ahead of their nearest rival by an amazing 1124 votes. Where can I obtain some of those E-numbers to put on my breakfast cereal?
Well done to all those members who have voted for the CDR and I urge anyone that has not voted yet to do so.
This is not just from me, but JUDY, the Donkeys and all their supporters.
