There is no trouble at all in Corfu at the moment but a lot of unrest boiling up in the larger mainland cities as a retaliation of the police shooting dead a 15 year old boy.

Yes the unrest is boliling up in Athans...
Recived a phone call from our friends that are in Athens last night at the moment...Like they was saying there are two sides to every story..And untill all the facts are brought in no one can come to a conclusion as to what rely happen..(There just to meany rumours going around at the moment)...
More up to date info can be got of people liveing in Athens that are on the Athens trip adviser forum...Chris

There are a fair few people living in Athens on this trip adviser site you can see for your self the comments that are being but on... T/A haveing a bad time with deleteing post from members...there is one chap that will not leve his shop for fear of it being set a light....Chris
If you have a look at this heading "Greek cities hit by fresh rioting" under Other Top Stories on the BBC news website, you will see film of disturbances outside the traffic police office in Corfu town (off San Rocco Square).

There were small scale riots in Corfu town this morning- near the police stations in San Rocco and Alexandras Avenue. Nothing like what I am watching on the news about Athens.
There is obviously a lot more to this than meets the eye. It will be interesting to see what happens when, if ever, the truth comes out. Just praying that there are no more fatalities.
