How does the situation in Corfu look like in accordance with the fights in Athens and Thessaloniki ?
Does anybody have an actual information about this. Our newspaper writes that the fights of young people began in Corfu-town too.

We live in Sinarades. Haven't heard or seen anything about it here. It is on all the news channels but there has been no mention of Corfu at all, just Athens and Thessalonika. We went out last night to Kontokali but all the roads were very quiet as were the bars that are open. It could be all the rain keeping people home. Will keep everyone posted if I hear anything.

Hi
I'm not sure what has happened in Corfu - but the big cities in Greece ie. Athens and Thesalonica are still experiencing problems with riots. The troubles started after a 15/16 year old was shot dead by police.

I've just heard on the BBC news that the rioting, which has followed the police shooting of a 15 year old boy in Athens, has now spread to Corfu. Does anyone have any more news? Hope everything is OK out there.
