Hi all , this is my first post , and would just like to say what a cracking website this is. My dilema is which resort to go to next May . I have booked my flights (£190 Thomas cook) but cant pick between Kassiopi , Nissaki or Ag Stefanos .There are so many stunning villas on this site and Villaplus which i must say have some great free extras like heated pool and free air conditioning. I know everyone has different opinions but would love some feedback from people who have been.(Previous holidays in corfu have been Kavos 1985 , gouvia 1992 and San stefanos west 1994.Many thanks in anticipation. Steve

Hi Steve, I am also fairly new to this site and now am absolutely addicted going on at least 3 or 4 times a day, everything anyone asks or replies seems really interesting , especially when you have been to some of the places talked about.
i would highly recommend Kassiopi as a great base and your close enough to get boats to the other places you have mentioned. you can even hire your own boat from Phillipos at the harbour (obviouslely).Depends on the party your with also .kids, teenagers,a couple etc Who are you going with?

Hi Carol and Keira thanks for your replies.Just my partner and I, just want a chilled week like we had this year. We stayed outside Kos town and was wonderful nearly as good as last year which will take some beating. We went to Agia Pareskevi on Skiathos ,absolutely superb would recommend it if you like superb food and stunning beaches and scenery. There again anywhere in Greece suits me and would live there tomorrow but will have to wait a few years yet. Agree with you Carol this site is addictive!

My vote to Kassiopi as well! It has something for everyone, and is close enough to visit the others either by road or boat if you want to explore.
We are there 11 - 25 May next year. Long time since we've been in May, so looking forward to being there at the start of the season instead of the end for a change. Although we will be there in September as well!

Greetings Steve, probably Kassiopi is the best all round resort more the size of SanSteph west. Has a good number of Tavernas and shops, and walks arround to keep the interesr going. Certainly more there to keep younger people interested.
My preference is SanSteph East but it is small, but also very pretty. It has four or five tavernas a couple of supermarkets, boat hire, exchange, and not much else. The tavernas can get busy over half term as people with children rent villas with pools, but the village is nearly always quiet during the day. Just check if you do go to SanSteph where your villa is, as you may have to drive down to the village to eat at night. Its not the distance so much as the steep walk back if you live back up the main road, and like to walk in to eat. There is a small beach to one side of the bay. Hope this helps.

Hi
My vote has to be Kassiopi.
Got back from a week last Friday and already booked to return in May.
We had a minibus so travelled all around the north coast to find a better place for next year but none was a patch on Kassi.
Its got everything without being too commercialised like Sidari etc.
We stayed with Villaplus at Villa Annie,Imerolia which is a ten minute walk away.
Our only complaint of the whole holiday was that the mattresses were too hard for us old folk(50).
We are going with Thomson next time as it worked out a lot cheaper than Villaplus for 2 weeks.
If we can be of any more help just ask.
Bob

Thanks for the info DaGreek and thinking i might be young! (53 next). Only going for a week so maybe Kassiopi is best and try and get elsewhere when we can. So many villas to choose from on this site and others but hiring a boat certainly appeals and sounds like the best way to get about. Wish i was there now as the weather seems ok at the moment according to a few websites

Hope you don't think your old at 53, if you do wait until you have been to Corfu and you will want to be younger so you will have longer to enjoy lots more holidays to this beautiful island.

Worth thinking about as you have mentioned, it is the aircondition and heated pool.
You wont need aircon in May, but a heated pool would be nice as they tend to be chilly until June.

Thanks to everyone for their ideas on where to go in May next year. It looks as though it will be Kassiopi although just received email from villavillas.com offering a 3bed with pool above Ag Stefanos looks stunning for £595. If anyone can recommend a villa near Kassiopi (Up to half a mile away) it would be very much appreciated. Still dont whether to book now or wait until april next year as Meon villas were offering half price villas for May this year. Decisions, decisions!!

hi, 4 men are also wanting to go in May, but I haven't found many flights for them yet. Easyjet are still not giving their timetable away! The Thos. Cook flight sounds good, but I will hang out for Easyjet (I wish I was going too, but they are going to work there for a week). Hope to book a flight for the two of us in late June/July. It was 54 deg centigrade there above Messonghi last June. Have tried and tried to get out there for New Year, but flights just too expensive with Olympic Air and too long for just a week or 10 days.
