Does it happen when you try to reply, and when you start a new message from your pm page, and if you click on the pm link above someone's post?

Sorry if that sounds obvious but you may not have tried all those options and we need to know if is a general problem ypu are having.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes it happens when I do all the above, and re the above message, it's still happening!

I am getting the same error message whatever I do. Perhaps it's me!

Correct me if im wrong, but to pm a member, do you have to be a 2 star member?
If so how and when do you move from being 1 star member to a 2 star member.

I don't understand when people talk about 'PM' buttons' above their posts? I can't see anything labelled like that. Could you explain please? I don't know whether this is linked, but the buttons above my posts are different to everyone else's. Could you please tell me why that is?

They look exactly the same to me. However, they didn't to you as for some reason when I upgraded you the pm didn't activate - that is the second time that has happened to me!

Of course, it isn't impossible that I simply forgot to click on it, in which case I apologize!

I have done it now, please see if you can see the pm button.
