If you are thinking of moving to Corfu, as we are, then you really should read this www.corfuupthehill.blogspot.com/ It is well written and offers an often amusing and very perceptive account of life in a Corfu village.

NOT TO BE MISSED!!! First thing we go to in a morning. It's a hoot!

I check on this blog most days to see if anything else has been added!AS we have bought a little house in Karousades,just habitable,we have experienced some of the things Bill talks about in a way!,I am so looking forward to turning that corner with eyes wide open and soaking up like a sponge everything that goes on around us.albeit for just a few months of the year!

well rocky and bill you have been here a couple of months longer than me but reading your blog how very true your tales of life here ,so simple and so undemanding compaired to the uk .relate to every thing you say except have not found the plot of land in our dreams yet so come home to rented flat each day and god you make me jealous with your veggie plot but some form of heating is must .we have open fire place but that only heats the living area and my daughters bed room on the other side of the room.but now have your blog as a fav so will be green with envy soon sparkie

love your blog, but can no longer access it from my home pc - keep getting that page that says "..experiencing difficulties..page may no longer be available.." etc etc. do you have any idea why that could be? I have missed your recent postings!

I've just been reading a good number of the blogs. Very entertaining! It's got to be a 'must' for anyone contemplating moving out to Corfu.

Thanks again for all the positive comments! I've been a "wannabe writer" for more years than I care to remember, but until now have never really had sufficient confidence in myself to believe I could entertain others... perhaps this is my new beginning?!

Joni - There was a problem with the blog a few days ago when everything got lost, but it was resolved almost immediately. If clicking on my signature link at the bottom of this post doesn't work try going to Google and putting in the seach "Corfu life up the hill" - I was amazed earlier today to realise that the blog can be found from there!

David1 - I don't know what the problem is with this, but it seems to be very temperamental. If you leave a comment in the box, then hit "publish" and it should, theoretically send the comment to me. Please keep trying!

Of course I was already in love with Corfu but I do look forward to your updates.
