Hi all

I arrived back from  Corfu last week,Ive only been twice  but have just fell head over heels in love with the place. I don't want to go anywhere else now, returning back to work tomorrow ( just working now to save for next holiday) Is it just me or does things get really depressing on coming back from a holiday, I think it was being able to spend good quality  time just chatting & chilling with hubby & kids instead of everyone rushing around all the time.To make matters worse some freinds of ours are off to Corfu tomorrow Anyway I feel a bit better for a rant & a winge ( not really) just had to get it off my chest, thanks.

Yours sadly

The Corfu virus gets to us all, its an epidemic, and quite contagious, but it is one illness that no doctor can cure, unless he can give you a sick note for two weeks so one can go back before next year.

Prognosis:

Take 2 tickets, mixed with a little bit of insurance, and find a nice hotel, and relax as much as possible. Come back and see me in two weeks.

Best Wishes.

What can I say I also have this virus - I have found it only gives me grief when I am in England so obviously the cure is to stay in Corfu!!! We have been going every year since 1996, mostly twice a year - we must be greedy because we would like it to be more often!!!!! but this is obviously the way the virus attacks!!!

Like Kelvin & Sylvia we were also attacked by this virus in 1996 and have been going back to Corfu every year, if possible twice a year. It really does get in the blood.

Waiting (im) patiently for 24 september when we will be back again until then will make do with visits to the web cam site.

Well, hubby and I were afflicted with the same virus in 1993.  There is no cure, Im afraid.  I too  find holidays very unsettling.  Not unsettling enough for me to stop going however!  I look at it this way.  If I dont go back to work - then I cant afford to come back again!

I visited Corfu in 1982 for the first time as a single girl. I took my husband there for the first time last year and that was it....he is now smitten.

We are returning this year on Sept 3rd and  can't wait. What makes things all the more sweeter is that we never thought we'd get away this year due to our hectic schedules, but have managed a last minute booking - staying in the same resort and the same accomodation.

Until then each day is happily scored off the chuff chart as it passes and images from the webcam are viewed with what can only be described as an unhealthy regularity
