Thought I would start the debate on these questions.

Should warm you up on this cold winters night.

Another famous daily mail non-story by the look of it.

They say that this information will be taken on booking a flight, so I assume that the travel agent or airline will be responsible for "taking" this info and passing it on.

Well most of the info they already take in any case, if they do actually succeed in accurately recording this I could imagine the Government drowning in their own information.

I think the information will be taken well before arrival at the airport.

I take the Daily Mail, because of the racing page.Im not Right Wing ,nor play on the Left Wing. Im usaully in the defence. Like all newspapers its only 10% Fact, and that includes the Crossword. Apparently 72% who voted on the Mail Poll, agreed with the idea, mind you can you believe the Mail.

Anyway for me anything that makes travel safer is OK.

It just makes me smile a little, when for example we recently returned from Lisbon,to Liverpool passing through Passport control takes some time, even with the one flight. It does however give you time to read the signs telling how it is neccesssary (I agree) to attempt to stem the flow of Illegal Entries to the country. According to the Mail that was around 500,000 last year. It aint working.

Of course the Daily Mail may have made that UP

Im still booking for Kalami next May. However many questions

Hi all

The best thing to do is catch a one way flight to Corfu this year then you dont ever need to bother with the airports again.

Don't know what all the fuss is about. If you think about it , we have in a roundabout way, have had to give this  information for years. Must agree with. Acharavi.com and Jimmy H

I dont mind as long as my information is secure...........with stories of up to 6000 illegals working in security you just wonder who will be getting access to your personal details and whether it will then be used frauduantly.

As according to the press:

"Many work as doormen, bouncers and private security guards "

I don't think this is going to be a problem, maybe they are working in the security industry, but it is security with a small "s"

you have to give some of this information Now if you are traveling to spain!! for their authorities....so its not New! ...have a look at Ryanairs website and book to Reus or Girona.

The authorities already have most of the info regarding the at least 10 of the first 12/13 on the list anyway!! ... good intentions behind it but yet again another government TAX on its way so it seems...

Though you do have to look at why this is being brought in! maybe those countries nationals that have been a contributing cause to this should be forced to pay some sort of bond that can be used towards the funding of it!

Dave.

How does answering questions become a TAX????

Perhaps answering lots of questions may become taxing, but that's not the same thing.
