Why? :-) North=top is only convention, and Earth is a globe so you can see Corfu from any point of view... The original was rotated by 90 degrees and I found this view most impresive. Leo

Spy satellites has much better resolution (in centimeters, you cannot do anything outdoor in privacy :-), this is rather common quality photo from space shuttle.
