Without a doubt it would be a member on here name of 'mcjackson'.   if you have a search on this name, using the magnifying glass at the top of the page, you should find his details.

He is highly recommended by many on this site and is taking all my worldly goods from Derby to Corfu tonight as it happens!

I am sure he will spot this thread anyway and get intouch.

Tiddles xx

Hi Peter c,

Thanks TiddlyDee and km, yes Dave is on his way tonight.  Depending on the quantity of furniture  you are wanting taking out, we have a XLWB Transit, we pick up from your door and deliver to the door of the property you have in Corfu, it never leaves our van and Dave remains in the van all the way, so safety angle there never can be a problem plus we have every insurance including Goods in Transit.  If you want to give us ring for any details our home number is 01274 599525 or Dave's mobile is 07793 938609 although he may be abroad (costly!!)

Regards, Sue and Dave

Depends on how much you will be taking with you?

I use a firm near Heathrow, although not furniture/ house removers have taken loads of stuff / goods ( and all different shapes/ sizes) from the UK to France for me.

They will collect from your house and pack the items/ goods and do all the relevant paper work, so the items are delivered to your new home/ house door. They are very reseanable on price and make sure that things are looked after correctly, as that is the most important thing.

If you would like the details let me know

McJackson is highly recommended by many people here on Corfu. He has done many trips now with a door to door service. He brings things out for the animals and for the Donkey Rescue. So if you want things transporting from the UK to Corfu you will not find a better service or a better price and you are helping the animals of Corfu at the same time  because any space he has left he brings items for the charities.

So please support him.

I would highly recommend McJackson too. I have just sent some things with him on his latest run. I met him the other day and he has been so helpful. I just wish we heard of him sooner and we would of done our large shipment with him. He even let us get some goods delivered to his house!!!

I would highly recommend him. And many thanks to everyone who has been so helpful on this site recommending him.

I'm sure MCjackson  is great - we used Mondial and I can definitely recommend them as well.  Excellent service and very reasonable.

As we speak I have a number of items on their way with Mondial. Of course, until it arrives I won't be able to give a definitive answer but their customer service and communication has been excellent to date.

Fingers crossed it all arrives safely. A 175kg Range cooker is a bit of a lump to send back!!!!

Hi Dave McJackson

You could just be the answer to my prayers, we are moving out this summer and have been getting quotes from the big companys' but have been told time and time again that they get your stuff and unload it at a warehouse where damage can occur before shipping it. I have been searching high and low for a guy like you, we also need pets transporting and that is more important to us than TV's and dishwashers. However, would you be able to pick up in Durham or do you just deliver from your own locale.

Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Tracy
