Corfu is fabulous and idyllic, and I am proud to be a member of this site. But, sadly a fair few of us, whether we live in the UK or elsewhere, will at some stage of our lives need to become invloved in the long term care requirements of our elderly parents, other close relatives or dear friends.

I do know what you are going through, and appreciate that you are probably feeling emotionally drained and exhausted right now, but I hope very much that your loved one is able to settle into their new home.

What makes things harder is the fact that they may well have to pay for their care (depending on their savings), and if this is the case, you might want to talk through your options and the best way to fund this care with an independent specialist before you may any final decisions.

Symponia (taken from the Greek for compassion), can help, we are a UK national affinity group with a member local to you, we were founded after realising that the families of people in care needed the reassurance that their advisers were not only competent in the finances and legislation, but that they could offer true caring and compassion at such a difficult time.

Each and every family approach the funding of care fees differently, and as such, each family deserves personal and bespoke attention, members will always endeavour to supply details of all the options available for every circumstance, making sure that family objectives (combined and individual) are being met.

To be introduced to your local member just contact us through our web site www.symponia.co.uk

Hi Janet,

Many thanks for your very generous donation to the animals. It is much appreciated and will make a difference to us, and we hope you find advertising on the Greek Urner string successful.
