The minimum driving age for hire car in Corfu is 23 yrs old. You can check this by going on a search engine (Google), and type in DRIVING AGE IN CORFU. The first half dozen or so links that come up all say 23 yrs old. And you need a full driving licence or an International Licence.
Best Wishes.

While searching last night for the legal drinking age in Corfu last night i also found that it said the legal driving age in Corfu is 21 and a full driving licence is required. I'll see if i'm able to find the website again and post it in this thread.

I have seen 4 different ages for driving in Corfu, 18, 21, 23, 25. I do not have a clue which is right but 23 was mentioned on four or 5 different sites. Interesting i also saw that 70 was the maximum age for hiring a car.

Thanks for all the info guys - as for the age limits - it is 21 for certain cars - the bigger cars may mean you have to be 25. I believe it used to be 23 but it was changed. I've read all the brochures over here in the Uk and they all say it is 21 now.
Thanks limmy for saying about the surcharge!

These are the web links I referred to earlier, plus there are more, then the age drops to 21 on the next few including Limmy's post from Valuecar, and those mentioned by Kev. It obviously varies, so shop around.
hi i emailed value plus yesterday and she replied to me this morning and this is what she said
Yes she can ire a car, but only a Group A or Group B, and she must have a full license for over a year. this of course is at the discretion of each individual company. If the clients look like holigans, then they will not get a car. This is to protect the insurance company and our cars.

Hi limmy.
Thanks for your information, and clarification. There is such a difference between each car hire company, you think they would advertise this age thing for certain cars. I have had emails back this morning from the companies I posted to say the same, if its Grade A or B you want then 21 is the age. Not all of them, but the ones that are used most.
Another shop around syndrome.
Best Wishes.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Really appreciate it!
I'm guessing then 21 is the 'proper' age but some companies choose 23 as they are afraid us young'uns might crash!
